Isn’t Reggie handsome in his new jacket?
He loves it! It’s the same fleece pull-over as his green one. Reggie wears it as a jacket when it’s windy or as a little extra something on cool mornings or after the sun goes down.
It’s so comfortable that sometimes he wants to wear it as pajamas.
The color is called “pumpkin” but leans toward coral. BTW, see Reggie’s nails in the next pic? This photo was taken one day after I clipped his nails. Here’s proof of what I’ve long suspected — immediately they grow back!

How did I manage to receive an online shopping order?
If you’ve been keeping up with the fast-paced world of RVSue and her canine crew, you know that receiving packages from Amazon has been problematic.

I can’t use the address of our present camp at Midland LTVA because the post office doesn’t deliver out here and it’s a crap-shoot whether the package will arrive via Fed Ex (which works), United Parcel Service (which works) or U.S. post office (which fails).

You may remember that the camp host told me about Right Space Storage in Blythe. Right Space will accept packages if one signs up for their service for a fee or you can pay $5 per package received.
Well, being a tight-fisted manager of my moola . . .
I look for a cheaper option because, hey, five bucks is five bucks. The solution? Lo and behold I discover that Blythe is home to a UPS Customer Center, aka a UPS hub!
Yay, I love free!
That discovery propels me to go online and reorder the items that were returned to seller previously as “undeliverable.”

I reorder the pumpkin jacket for Reg and the leather handbag for me.
I add to the order a new wallet because the zipper on my old-but-beautiful Buxton wallet broke recently.
The handbag arrives.
I don’t like it.
Even though I paid close attention to the measurements, in reality it’s too big for me. If I were still working, it would be fine. It’s a very nice bag.
I realize now that I don’t need all that space to carry stuff around with me. Funny how it took this long full-timing for me to figure that out! I plan to return the handbag.

My new wallet can serve as a handbag!
Oh my, it has a wrist strap! My Samsung smartphone and still-important checkbook fit in it easily, as well as all my various cards. Amazingly, paper money slides in without a struggle, too.
Amazon has a catchy name for it: Anvesino Women’s RFID Blocking Real Leather Wallet Ladies Zipper Wristlet Clutch.
No, I didn’t pay over 33 bucks! Me? Of course not. I bought it with points from my Amazon Visa card.
I love this wallet!

See how ecstatic one can become over a wallet when living simply? Stuff that is inconsequential when living large becomes magnificent when living an uncluttered life.
Anyway . . . .
Now that I have a mistake-proof way of receiving packages, I’m going online shopping again! This time I’ll have to shop with real money.
Gasp.
I do enjoy the privacy and quiet seclusion of our campsite at Midland LTVA.
See the white dot near the horizon in the photo above? That’s our neighbor. Hee-hee.
Notice how shady our outdoor room is in the afternoon. This is what one considers when positioning one’s rig in the desert. Also, the precious, new refrigerator is on the afternoon shade side.
The Big Maria Mountains are one of the views seen from the lounger.

This is what “home sweet home” is to me.
