Hello, Everyone!
Ever since last night the internet connection has been very poor, so I’ll keep this short. I want you to know I’ve read and appreciate your comments, but I can’t reply at this time. Maybe the connection will improve later today or tomorrow.
Thank you for your kind wishes for our day.
Happy Thanksgiving to all
“Okay, Bridge. Here’s the deal. We wait until RVSue goes into the little room and shuts the door. Then we high-tail it out of here and get in line over at the church. I hear they have turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied yams, pie…oh, yeah, lots of pie . . .”
from RVSue, Bridget and Spike
Happy Thanksgiving to you Sue from Joe and Debbie- Pinnacles campground host DuBoisWy

Hi Sherry! Thanks for the Thanksgiving wish to the three of us.
HI SUE- I was so touched by Chuck and Jeri’s rememberance of T day last year…you have great friends! Hope you are having a nice day. It’s so nice when your family checks in. I had a wonderful visit and meal with my mother and she has a house full of relatives. I checked OUT!
Almost fell asleep driving back to TorC. Just wanted to say HI. K with a K
It makes me happy to hear you shared Thanksgiving with your mother. Yes, I have great friends (whom I’m thankful for), and you’re one of them!
Happy Thanksgiving. I’m curious what Santa has in mind.
The word from Santa’s workshop is that the gift is for RvSue AND all 676 followers.
Happy Thanksgiving Sue! Tell us how you celebrated when you get a chance. 🙂 –Angie
Hi Angie! Our Thanksgiving Day was like any other day, which would be a sad thing to say except “any other day” is great! I’m thankful for the many good people who read my blog and write kind messages here.
Happy Thanksgiving Susan and Crew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think of you often!!!
Same here, Kathryn. I miss you!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the crew !!
Thank you, Susan. Enjoy the weekend!
Happy Thanksgiving, Sue, I hope you enjoyed your day.
It was a good day. Hope yours was, too, Ginger.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Spike and Bridget! Thank YOU for your beautiful writing and honesty! Hope the slabs treat you well!
Kellee and Becker (the wonder terrier!)
PS: Becker does the sit and I don’t want to walk thing also, but he has no excuse – just laziness!
You’re welcome, Kellee, and thanks for the good wishes.
Almost have to agree on solo Thanksgiving day. I went to a gathering yesterday and it was pretty much ruined due to one woman’s constance political snipping. Poor manners will always spoil a happy time.
Your last sentence is so true, Jack. Sorry your day wasn’t as enjoyable as it should have been.
Hope you three had a great day. 🙂
Same thought towards you, LuAnn.
Glad your day was just your kind of day. you never mention your diet. are you still following it? Enjoy the Slabs.
I’m not on the Dukan diet right now. Once I got to my target weight I eased off it. I have adopted some of its tenets… Breakfast is still no-fat milk with oat bran and I stay away from sugar.
Lean meat is important for the diet. Shopping in these small groceries in small, rural towns . . . I got a package of deli turkey that was slimy. Yuck! It turned me off deli turkey and without that, the diet is hard to do. I also need access to Greek yogurt at an affordable price, another difficulty with small town groceries.
I think I can go back on the deli meat again, enough time has passed since that bad experience.. Now I have to camp somewhere that I can replenish the Greek yogurt and deli meat easily. I love that I know a tool that works to control my weight!
did you do your part for the economy on black Friday?
I always go to your blog firstcuz enjoy it so, what disappointment if there’s nothing new, no pressure meant.
I stopped shopping on the Friday after Thanksgiving about 30 years ago.
I’ve got you beat. I have never shopped the Friday after Thanksgiving… and never even considered it. I’ve always hated crowds… and shopping. 🙂
Yeah, it’s almost an affront to womanhood… hating shopping. But I do, too! I hate it so much, when I had to buy clothes to look good at work… If I found something presentable and reasonably priced that fit me, I’d buy two or three, just to cut down on the need to shop.
