A slideshow of Rogue River Gorge

A little excursion . . .

A few miles north of Natural Bridge Campground, we drive past a cafe that always seems busy with pie-loving patrons coming and going.  We’re on our way to the Rogue River Gorge Lookout!

I park in a shady spot.

I don’t think dogs are allowed on the trail.  Bridget and Spike are sleepy, which means they’ll be content to stay in the PTV while I walk the trail along the river.  The Rogue River is such fun to photograph.  I hope you  enjoy these photos![slideshow]

Becky’s berry pies are quite famous, Sue. Natural Bridge Campground was the very first campground we stayed when we got the first baby MoHo back in 2005. So glad you are enjoying sunny Oregon. Hope Bridget is doing well.

Beautiful pictures of a great river. You must be happy with your new camera.

  6. Thanks for the beautiful pictures Sue. They are breath-taken. This is a place I will put on my list once I get traveling. Wondering what the weather temperature is there this time of year. Hope all is well with the crew,,,,, praying for good results at the animal hospital next week.

The temperature is what I consider perfect. Short sleeves, capri length jeans, in the daytime, maybe a long-sleeve shirt first thing in the morning. Cool nights, no need for the heater, just the quilt and two warm canines! Thank you for your prayers. I’m still holding off on surgery for Bridget… she’s doing so well without it.

Such lovely photos…and it is a joy to be by so much water too…water that LOOKS clean even!! A switch from back here…all of it looks so muddy…except up at Cherokee, NC we saw clear water there, the first we had seen east of the Mississippi however. BUT don’t drink it!! Looks can be deceiving.

Hi Sue, I’m a new blog follower of yours. Someday, my husband and I hope to see the USA in an RV, as well. It’s wonderful to have such inspiration through your travels, photos and stories. Thank you for sharing! I too am a nature loving, picture taking, dog loving, adventurer. We have two labs, Bella and Riley, so RVing interests us since it enables us to have our dogs with us. We live in northern Wisconsin summer to fall, then head south to Venice, Florida for the winter. I’m keeping notes on the places you highly recommend. Good luck to your pup next week.

  14. Pat Scrabeck says:

You certainly have a photographer’s “eye,” as your photos are lovely. What kind of camera do you have? Maybe if I get a good camera my pictures will turn out like yours–ha-ha. Love to you and the pups and I’m praying that Bridget will heal without surgery.
