What is the BLT?
The BLT is what I consider the Best Little Trailer, a 2011 17-foot Casita Liberty Deluxe which was the full-time home for me and my crew from August 2011 to May 2018.
What is the PTV?
The PTV is the Perfect Tow Vehicle. It's a 2005 Chevy Express Van with a V-8, 5.3 liter engine and equipped with a 200-watt solar panel on the roof and two AGM batteries inside.What is a blogorino?
A blogorino is a reader who opens up the comment section of this blog and writes a message. Blogorinos are kind and friendly and fun to know!-

Hi Merle, Hope you and Leo can come see us soon. We have Roadrunners in the park and I’m going to try throwing one a piece of hot dog. Maybe we can get him or her to come back for treats every now and then. Bob our neighbor has a crazy woodpecker that gets mad when the hummingbird feeder is empty. The bird taps on Bobs RV roof with that jack hammer beak until Bob comes out and fills the feeder. I think Bob is contributing to the delinquency of a woodpecker 🙂
Happy eclipse of the Moon Sue. Hope you are a little bit warmer now. We are expecting strong winds tommorow here in Wikieup Arizona. But soon the weather will be in the 70’s and beautiful. So many campers here are leaving to go home and every year I tell them “you are leaving too soon”. They no sooner leave this lovely desert driving home and they are saying ” ah Martha I think we may have left too soon “. I think some of these Snowbirds are just homesick. Desert Rat Kate and I don’t get homesick because where ever we park we are home 🙂 Love this life and to all blogerinos who are still punching the time clock and day dreaming of someday living this wanderful life ( I deliberately misspelled that word ), I say quit and test out your Snowbird wings. This life is only free if you have the guts to do it. So cast off the bow lines, weigh anchor and set sails for the southwest. You will never regret it, in fact most Snowbirds I meet say, ” my only regret is not doing it sooner “.
SO AGREE with this!! The only downside for us, is that the grandkids are saying “did you get lost? Please come home!” sure tugs on my heartstrings. Me thinks shorter trips are in our future.
