Wrapping up February review . . .
Corvina Beach Primitive Campground, Salton Sea, California
Our days at Salton Sea come to a close.
Bridget and I share many sunsets like this one!
Serenity at Sunset, Salton Sea
Our next camp? Chuckwalla Mountains Wilderness!
We choose to boondock with a view of the valley rather than at empty Corn Spring Campground nearby. This camp is a few miles south of Interstate-10.
Chuckwalla boondock on Corn Springs Road, southeast of Desert Center, California
February into March . . .
Across the Colorado at Parker and onward to Rusty’s boondock!
Across Route 95 from the Aubrey Hills, south of Lake Havasu City, Arizona
I search the animal shelter in Lake Havasu City — another disappointment.
March
On the 6th of March Bridget and I break camp and move northward to the east side of Las Vegas!
Lake Mead Recreation Area, Las Vegas, Nevada
We set up camp at Las Vegas Bay Campground.
Days are sunny and warm at Las Vegas Bay in March
Bridget and I adopt a co-pilot!
At last! We find Reggie at an Adopt-A-Rescue event at a PetSmart in Las Vegas. Our family is complete again.
Reggie and Bridget in the Perfect Tow Vehicle a few days after Reggie comes home.
Reggie goes on his first excursion as a member of the canine crew!
Valley of Fire State Park, west of Lake Mead and north of Las Vegas
Bridget assumes the responsibilities of training the new co-pilot.

Another excursion — Hoover Dam!
One of the Top Ten Construction Achievements of the Twentieth Century
On the 15th of March we break camp and travel Route 93 northward to a very different campground setting.
Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge!
A lovely camp only a few feet from the water’s edge
Yes, this is Nevada!
Bridget and Reggie meld into a comfortable companionship while at Pahranagat.
We follow Route 318 northward and find another Nevada surprise!
The Eagan Range as seen from the road into Wayne E. Kirch Wildlife Management Area
Dave Deacon Campground is located within Kirch WMA.
The shelter suggests this BLM campground can be windy!
Little did I expect that I would experience, while in “the middle of nowhere” in Nevada, . . .
My first soak in a hot springs!
Warmth for the body and for the spirit
March 2015 — A wonderful month packed with happy memories!
Picturesque camps in three states, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, wildlife refuges, desert hot springs, and a crew of two again!
