The BLT is what I consider the Best Little Trailer, a 2011 17-foot Casita Liberty Deluxe which was the full-time home for me and my crew from August 2011 to May 2018.
The PTV is the Perfect Tow Vehicle. It's a 2005 Chevy Express Van with a V-8, 5.3 liter engine and equipped with a 200-watt solar panel on the roof and two AGM batteries inside.

A collection of photos can sure tell a story…like a silent movie! Pure, tender, sweet enjoyment … loved it!
No need to write a post. Let the photos do the talking.
Dogs are one of the joys of my life and I loved the photos. Hasn’t Timber got a wonderful smile? The love between Timber and Rusty oozes from your images. I bet your two are enjoying the visits, even Bridget got caught on camera!!
I particularly like the photo of Timber’s head in profile with Rusty looking at him with pride and love all over this face.
Timber is a beautiful dog! And Spike and the Desert Diva are pretty cute too! Linda in Benson, Az.
Notice how clean Timber looks compared to my two ragamuffins.
I love the shot of Timber lying on his back. There is another shot where he looks like he’s smiling. I am so happy that Timber and Rusty are back together and well enough to enjoy the afternoon in the sun. The crew look peaceful as well.
Timber has a naturally smiling face that loves the camera.
Ha! Now I see why Spikey is darker… he rolls in the dirt!!! Timber sure has perfect ears and markings…. Doggie Play date, so cool.
It may be hard to believe, Kay, but that’s Bridget rolling around on her back with her head in the dirt… That’s right. Little Miss Precious gets down and dirty.
Great pictures. And such lovely subjects too! They are sooo cute
Hi Carla… Bridget, of course, is ducking around under the BLT to avoid the evil camera.
Awww such sweet doggie pics! Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome, Patti.
The picture of Spike and Timber sniffing and then Bridget peeking out from behind the tire is so cute. She is like…”I’m not going out there.” Timber is one unique and beautiful dog. Spike and Bridget are just pure cute and adorable.!
Timber is gorgeous. The crew is a mess! The dirt around here is like brown talcum powder. It sticks to Bridget and Spike.
Be glad you aren’t in Sedona where the dirt is red. I have a friend who lives there and her cat rolls in the dirt and looks like someone dyed him. Looks like it’s bath time for the dynamic duo.
Great slide show. Timber sure is photogenic.
Great pix of ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, Chuck.
I think the Bridge is gaining some weight. My Roxie was a pudge and when she tried to lay on her back and scratch her back, her ballast got in the way!
That was great! What a wonderful time had by ALL! Bridget made me laugh…upside down on the mat…then the picture of dirt all over her head. What a goof! Spike looking over at her saying,”Bridg What’s got into you?” Love the pic of Timber and Rusty smiling..and the one of Timber giving Rusty a kiss!
Priceless slide show…………………no words needed!
Love, love today’s post. Not that I don’t like the others, but the dogs are too cute! Spike is so much more tolerant of Timber. Timber does seem to be a little calmer. Maybe it was the camera! Love Bridget’s tummy pose!! So lady like!
What a treasure that photo gallery was! Rusty and Timber are most certainly BFFs, in the verbiage of texty-teens…! Timber will be happy wherever they end up – as long as Rusty is at his side! Thanks for the peek! Take care.
I hope you can find a way to get Rusty a set of these amazing photos! This is one of the few times I experience that a picture is really worth a thousand words. Nice job.
Give me a kiss, ,,,Dad, ,,,,hey where’s the goody that was in there
You both look great in the photos, Rusty!
Thank you Sue,
I love dogs. I am grateful for every picture of Bridget and Spike and seeing Timber is a wonderful bonus. Unfortunately my back problems don’t permit me to walk a dog so I choose not to own one. I am touched by your friendship with Rusty. I’m sure he appreciates having someone he can depend on. Thank you for sharing.
All the best,
Barrie
I’m surprised you were able to get a pic of Bridget in such an undignified pose with her head in the dirt & all legs in the air! Maybe that was the Badger side of her coming out! 🙂 Great pics of everyone!
Love the photos, I’m soooo much a dog person I love reading your posts about life on the road with dogs…my ultimate goal!
Just loved this slideshow. I must admit at first glance, I wondered why you had a plucked chicken breast side up laying on the ground. At closer look it was just your girl having a dirt bath.
The love that Rusty has for Timber (and vice versa) comes through in those photos. I’m glad they have each other and wish that every animal knew that love.
Dogs are the greatest!! I miss having one a great deal!! I sure hope we can get one again ere too very long!!
Tonight we are under tornado watch until 10 PM…don’t you miss such things?? HA!! NOT!!
Great Pics.
What a wonderful post – sometimes you don’t need words, just pictures. I’m so grateful (again) that Rusty and Timber were reunited, the love they have for each other shows in each photo. And you finally got Bridget in a shot or two! I don’t think she’ll appreciate the one of her on her back, but just tell her that you take what you can get. 🙂 Thanks, as always, for sharing your life with us.
What fun pics and what a great smile Timber has! Rusty looks great, too.
I’m assuming that Timber has gone home because Bridget is doing a “happy rub” as she is quite happy to see him go. Little girl dogs are selfish that way.
Great shots!
The topography looks a little boring compared to beautiful Ahjo. You mentioned a while back you had to keep moving North…was it a rendezvous with Rusty & Timber that had to be made? The Secret Life of Desert Lady is full of intrigue. Who needs to read a mystery novel when there is RV Sue and her K9 Crew.
GGeeeeerrrrrr Wooffrufff aahhooooooolllloooollll
What,,,,,,,,,, oh nothing ,,,,,,,,,,,, ah was juss lookin at the screen dad,,,,why
Yes, I decided to head north instead of going to southeast Arizona, because Rusty was dealing with health issues and then the possibility of moving into a house. You’re right about a mystery. Most of the time I don’t know what the crew and I will be doing next week.
What a handsome fella Timber is! (Don’t tell Spike)
