The crew and I explore our new home.
Bridget, Spike, and I discover there are several one-lane, dirt roads for our morning walks. This slideshow shows what we saw on our first long walk at Juniper Hill Camp.
The church steeple photo was taken in Wickenburg a few days ago. I include it here as an expression of my personal faith on this Easter Sunday, and also to pray God’s blessings on all my readers. You bless my life and for that I am grateful.

Thank you Sue and blessings back to you – to all of your readers too.
I know just about where you are as I lived in the Flagstaff area for a number of years and had explored that area.
Oh goody I have wanted to be the first one to comment and now world here I AM. I like your tree and it is great to be alone out thar. The crew can do what doggies do with out too much worry, so relax, kick back and get back to that exciting book. Rattlesnake Joe from the Rattlesnake Capital of the World…Wikieup Arizona.
“Silence is the voice of God”
I have a feeling you hear God’s voice a lot.
Beautiful!
Debra, ” Silence is the voice of God” I love your quote, I think I’ll add that one to my folder of favorite quotes..Thanks for sharing…

Beautiful spot to spend Easter! Geri had me up in that area somewhere…….when we still the Oliver. Don’t think the MotherShip could get in there! Cottonwood is crowded and kinda hard to find your why around, been there twice to visit our buddy John. Great pics, that was a handsome pinto in your last post! You and the Crew have a restful Easter.Chuck n Geri n the Boyz.
Happy Resurrection Day RV Sue. I just love those small, old churches with their weathered look and the cross on the top of the church proclaiming him. Dave (Marcia, Bubba and Skruffy – GoingRvWay.com)
Looks like you finally found a great spot. Beautiful Easter morning!
Love your new location. Lots of space for the crew to roam.
Happy Easter, Sue!
Thanks for sharing with us…..I would so like to be there.
Blessings to you! Again thanks for letting us travel along with you and the Crew. Happy Easter.
Beautiful spot Sue! Chuck and I found a forest campground near Strawberry AZ., not too far from where you are. I can’t find it on the map though or in our SW camping destinations book. Another great boondocking area, if you are heading towards Flagstaff, is the Lake Mary/Morman Lake area!
Happy Easter to you Sue and the Crew too!
Looks like a great site. I know it took a lot of patience and driving around but it seems like you are pretty darn good at finding these sweet spots. I could just imagine (well maybe fear) us doing all that and getting stuck in a small turnaround someday. Hope you have a great week. Kris
Have a blessed Easter Sunday Sue and crew!
May the rest of your Easter be peaceful and quiet. Best to you Sue, Bridget and Spike.
Happy Easter, I like your new spot…I thought I saw a cow patti in one of the pictures so don’t let your guard down..lots of trees so get the feeders out!
Bless you to!
Happy Resurrection Sunday to you too, Sue, and to your darling crew. After your rather harrowing adventure finding this place, it looks like ‘you did good’! Such peaceful surroundings! I appreciate your taking us along with you and sharing your life with us.
You’re in God’s country…looks beautiful on Easter day. Have a joyous day and the crew.

Hi Sue, Blessed Easter to you! We retired!! We just got to Tucson. I’ve just now been able to catch up with your blog. What beautiful pictures! Sounds like you are farther north. The hubby & I willl be traveling around checking out AZ .I sure hope to meet you one day when we are both in the same area? Hopefully I’ll have internet service so I can continue following you! Hugs to the Pups!! Dixie(N.MN.)
I love your blog! I’m not sure how I found you, but I’m glad I did. Excited to see where you all travel.
Wonderful country. My parents rest in Prescott Cemetery. I used to live at the base of Thumb Butte.
The blessings of God on you also Sue. It’s a humbling thought when I meditate upon the Resurrection. Where would I be today without it, what would I be?
Have a wonderful stay at your new camp Sue. Bob, San Andreas, CA. Looking for land in Joshua Tree, CA. 🙂
That agave photo is spectacular!
….glad you finally found a spot…I hate that feeling of not knowing where we’re going to sleep as the day dwindles away….
stay safe…
Thanks to each of you for the kind messages sent to me and my crew. All is quiet and well on Juniper Hill this Monday morning. I hope all is well with you, too!
What an absolutely gorgeous place to spend Easter. Many people believe we have to be in church every Sunday to be close to God-I’m certainly not knocking going to church but to me, where u r right now is closer to God than anywhere else u could be. And ur able to share with Bridgette and Spike, two wonderful companions that He gave to u. And thru u videos and pictures u share with so many of us who won’t be able to make it there but still can enjoy the beauty. God bless you and the crew.
