~ Happy New Year from Reggie, Roger and RVSue! ~
~ ~ ~
Another fresh new year is here . . .ย
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!
This bright new year is given me
To live each day with zest . . .ย
To daily grow and try to be
My highest and my best!
I have the opportunity
Once more to right some wrongs,
To pray for peace, to plant a tree,
And sing more joyful songs!

Happy New Year! Still early in the evening but likelihood of my seeing anything even close to midnight is remote! Except, my Toby has developed quite a fear of firework noises so I expect that could keep us awake. Hoping not. Very stressful for him.
Thanks for the sunset photo. Beautiful! I’ll be in so. CA for the month of February.
Happy New Year!
Thank you. To slightly misquote a song, your blog lights up my life. ๐
May the New Year bring many wonderful adventures and treasures your way.
Hugs from Hoquiam!
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to Sue, crew and all the blogorinos! I haven’t been participating as much because of work and my back problems, but hope to get back in the saddle this coming year. I miss you guys! Hope everyone is safe, warm, happy and having a great holiday!
Hi DG !!! Good to see you popping in once every so often! Been wondering about you!
Try CBD oil for your back pain! It has helped me SO MUCH!
How do you use it? Just drops orally or in mixture? I’ve wanted to try for my back pain but wasn’t sure how to take it and didn’t know anyone who had.
And LOVE that picture of R&R; so indicative of their personalities! Happy New Year Sue and Crew!
CBD oil 600 mg strength, 1/3 dropper full under the tongue 3 times daily! AMAZING difference for me! I have been taking it for 6 weeks now! I can’t believe the difference! Haven’t taken a pain pill (gabapentin) in 2 weeks!
Michelle, if you click on my name, I have a link that goes to my website. I am also doing the CBD oil now and it is life changing.
Happy New Year to you and yours, Sue, and to all that visit here, too. May what you find dear be yours, may every fine wish, blessing and kindness you give be multiplied as it comes back to you.
The unknown author’s ideas are a great addition to this post. I hadn’t noticed that being on here yesterday, good choice, Sue!
I added the poem today after reading it for the first time online. It’s a good one to refer to often throughout the year, like a New Year’s resolution. I’m glad you like it. ๐
Happy New Year to my sister Susan and all the blogerinos. I appreciate your friendship even though we have never met. Susan has made us one happy family.
Send Lots of Love and Big Hugs to you, Susan and to Reggie and Roger.
Have a Happy New Year. I don’t know what kind of books you like, but, if you like Janet Evanovich’s Number series then check out Darynda Jones’s Charley Davidson series. It’s very enjoyable. If that isn’t your scene, I also loved A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towle(?).
Chuck and I wish Sue and all the blogerinos a happy, wonderful, prosperous and healthy 2018!
We are Homs listening to,rain on the roof, snug and warm in our MotherShip!
Love you all! ๐๐๐
Love the new header photo of Reggie and Roger! Those 2 were meant to be best buds!
Happy New Year Sue, crew and all the blogorinos. May you all have a 2018 filled with good health, guided by wisdom, surrounded by beauty and friends, and blessed with love!
Happy New Year Sue, Reggie, and Roger. Lovely sunset. My plans are to be out near Quartzite by January 7. I may go to Ajo or Blythe if I can’t take the crowd there. I want to try and stay a few days to get information and meet people doing the same thing to learn from them. May hang around for the gem show something I have always wanted to come to. Just have to wait and see. I have to check the dates for that show to make sure It is not too far out. Don’t worry I will respect your privacy if I happen to see you.

Thank you for running this blog for all of us out here in virtual blogerinoland. I for one, Love, Love, LOVE! your photos, thoughts, musings, and all the work that goes into keeping this blog up. I believe you have been an inspiration to many, to follow their dreams, and live their lives outside of the box. I can certainly speak for myself, if not for others – just my take on all the comments from regular readers. You don’t get a dedicated following Sue, without being inspirational. You truly have a gift! Thank you!

This last year has been a good one, for me and it would for you and the crew. Despite the fires & smoke, the photos from this last summer were wonderful. Actually, all of your posts were wonderful. I’m grateful that you take the time to share your experiences with all of us.
I look forward to a New Year, one with both old and new campsites, boondocks and stories of the many people you met along the way.
So, Happy New Year to all and I hope there will be many more to follow.
Happy New Year to Sue, Crew and all the blogorinos!
I’m looking at a better year in 2018. This past year ran long in several different senses, but things are beginning to “open out” and I’ll be making choices among different directions, all of which look better than recent years.
I never get over those desert sunsets.
Calvin, good to see you back. Glad things are looking up for you.

Happy New Year to you, too, RVSue!
I’m sorry to say our sunset fizzled a bit but the moonrise was stunning, and this was the first New Year’s Eve that we not only hung out by the pool for the afternoon but also had our dinner (grilled cheese with bacon on sourdough, our yearly treat) on the patio under the almost-full moon. Life is good.
My recipe for sourdough grilled cheese would be great for your grill – Just make sure and use good thick bread, Tillamook medium cheese, crisp bacon, mayo, and real butter for the outside, or just use mayo for the outside. Grill very slowly, preferably with a cover to keep the heat in. YUMMY!
Happy New Year to all!! ๐ ๐พ ๐ฅ
Best wishes to you all for a Happy and Healthy New Year!!

Happy New Year Sue and Crew. Love the header photo. I can’t remember when or what you were doing when you took that but it hilarious then and now.
Love that poem, so appropriate for the New Year.
Have to tell you a funny story. As you probably know, we are having very cold temps here, 0 and below with wind chills. As a result, I decided Angel most definitely need a coat, I bought two. One is a down alternative type that goes around her neck and around her belly and attached with velcro. The other is a sweater type that her legs fit through and keep her tummy warmer and has a little hat with a pouf on top.
So I figured the velcro one would be the easiest. I put her harness on, laid the coat on her back, hooked the velcro at the neck and she took off running the house like a wild animal. My husband an I were dying laughing and all the while trying to catch her. Finally did, 10 minutes later and got the belly band closed and we went out for a normal walk. She did the same thing this morning and we were laughing hysterically again. Good thing I didn’t try the other one first.
Aren’t animals so funny?? Too bad you did not get this one on video!! Haha…thanks for sharing!!
LOL!! ๐
I can see it, Barbara! Hilarious!
Based on the coat episode I hereby announce Angel the winner of the coveted Spikester Memorial Nutcake Award!
Happy New Year, Sue – I hope you, Reggie and Roger have a wonderful 2018.
Kathy.
Love Reggieโs little toung sticking out. My little Louie does that a lot. There so cute.
Hi, Sharon . . .Louie, such a cute name!
