The gladness of the season, which is hope,

And the heart of the season, which is love.”

Merry Christmas Sue, Reggie, Rogg, and fellow readers. Larry, Kitty, and I are hoping you are all blessed with a lovely day, full of beautiful surprises and gifts of nature, surrounded by those you love the most.

We are camped outside if Ajo, AZ in one of Sues favorite places. Can you guess where? We found a lovely spot complete with a curtain of 3 Palo Verde trees between us and the road, lots of Saguaros, a beautiful hillside where the sun paints its Sunrise colors, and many places to walk and explore the desert and it’s charms. We totally feel blessed! I have to give credit where credit is due Sue, as I would not have found this spot if it hadn’t been for your blog. I wondered if Rick and Lady might have returned here again this year, but I haven’t seen his Scamp. I also have to admit, that on my sunrise walk down the main road, I envisioned coming up over the rise and seeing Sue, Bridget, and Spike trotting along.

This is a good life, and we are glad we took the leap. Much Aloha to all,

    Suzi, Larry and Kitty.

Thank you for sharing your life there not just for the past year but from the beginning. Your blog always has good information coming from all directions about so many diverse subjects. Personally, if you went back on the road for any extended period of time I would have withdrawals from your thrift shop finds!
Hope you, Reggie and Roger had a great day. What did you end up having for your Christmas meal? Because my nephew Bob and wife sent me some Linguica and Chorizo, Portuguese sausage, it was a perfect cold day to make Portuguese kale soup. Was trying figure what you all were having. Not a clue. Hope it was good. Be Well.

Merry Christmas (belated) and Happy New Year 2019!
Sue, that is one of my favorite Irish Blessings…it gives m
Chills. Love your story about the wind and the flashback of your camping experience.
We also spent our first Christmas in our home in Green Valley. We love it here so much. We had a dusting of snow on our Santa Rita mountains…so beautiful. Our little Peanut is definitely Sun doggie. She is a happy girl in Oregon but crazy happy here. We’ve made so many new friends here.
Thank you Sue! Your blog has gotten me thru some dark times, as well as good times. Highs to all 🙂
